Meet Sidoine Felix Leudjie

Co-Founder & COO

Born on August 21st, 1995 in Souza, Littoral Region Cameroon, Sidoine Felix M. Leudjie is an MBA candidate in Project Management at the Pan-African Institute for Development West Africa Buea. He is the pioneer and actual president of the Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa of the Pan-African Institute for Development West Africa Buea (YALDA PAID-WA) an international non-profit organisation established to create a resourceful networking database for those with a strong interest in Africa. Sidoine is a trainer, motivational speaker and coach with an interest in inspiring positive actions. Leudjie lives in the city of Buea South West Region Cameroon.

Sidoine has been very engaged in extracurricular activities from his early years as a student. In his senior secondary school years, he was elected senior social prefect, master of ceremonies and dormitory captain of the St. Pius dormitory in St. Francis College Kumba (SAFRACOL). He also received several awards amongst which the most disciplined student in 2006; best student in commerce in 2008; best student in history and French literature in 2011 and 2012 respectively and won several dancing competitions, basketball games many others.

In 2013, while in the University of Buea, he succeeded in rallying ex-students of SAFRACOL together and they formed the St. Francis Ex-Student Association University of Buea Chapter (FESA UB Chapter). That year he was elected vice-president of the chapter and the following year, chapter president. During his leadership with FESA, with his team, he organized several visits to their alma-mater were they gave donations to the school and career orientation sessions alongside the choice of what to study in the university to graduating students. Under his leadership, the team of ex-students, assisted freshmen from SAFRACOL in their registration process into various universities around Buea; in getting affordable and secure student hostels and they equally organized a freshmen thanksgiving mass and welcome party for two different batches who enrolled into the university under his leadership.

In 2014, Leudjie joined Junior Chambers International University of Buea (JCI UB). Here he volunteered as project director in several projects and as personal assistant to the 2015 Chapter President. At the end of the 2015 academic year, he was awarded the price of the most supportive member at the branch local convention. He has served in several projects both at the local and national level, in 2016, he was appointed National Secretary General of JCI Cameroon.

In 2016, Leudjie, was appointed Executive Coordinator of YALDA PAID-WA and was re-elected for a second mandate in 2017. Throughout his mandates, he has demonstrated, admirable stewardship in youth programs. His willingness to learn and serve gives him the rare quality of self-discipline. As branch Coordinator, he has organized and taken part in youth advocacy and active citizenship programs, debates and youth leadership seminars. Leudjie has been committed in organizing meaningful capacity building and training workshops in some institutions in Buea which so far has been inspiring youths to take positive actions for the betterment of their own lives and their immediate communities. He has also been very engaged in educating young people on the need to understand and implement Cameroon’s vision 2035, Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

In 2016, Leudjie created the PAID-WA Public Speaking and Debate Club. As trainer, debater and one of the public speakers of the team, the team participated at the first edition of the University of Buea Commonwealth Debate and Public Speaking Championship, were the won the debate tournament, emerging with the best male and female debater of the tournament and Leudjie worn the price of the best public speaker of the tournament. The team has been participating at several other debate and public speaking competitions, have worn several other trophies and they are always amongst the finalist in all tournaments they have participated.

Today, Leudjie volunteers as consultant in capacity building and organizational leadership with the World Empowerment Radio on the weekly program Talk to the Youths and the local TV Station, Hi TV on its weekly program Youth Empowerment Actors. His exploits have so far taken him to Maputo Mozambique where he was part of a 3 man Cameroon Delegation to the FIE 2017 organized by the African Union for youth leaders from the continent. He therefore looks forward to other global knowledge sharing and networking opportunities and his zeal for impacting his community has led to his most recent start up.
